GIVING

Giving is the natural response of joy we have when we encounter the generous God of love we see in Jesus. It’s through the incredible generosity of so many that Redland Church is able to do all it does as a Church. Giving is another way we play our part in what Jesus is up to in his Church here.

HOW TO GIVE

REGULAR GIVING

The easiest way to give is by a monthly direct debit. We use the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ to enable giving. This is a national church organisation that claims the gift aid on our behalf without taking commission. Just use the link below and select the regular giving option to start.

One off

You can also give a one off gift online by card payment. We use the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ to enable giving. This is a national church organisation that claims the gift aid on our behalf. For one off gifts a minimal commision is taken from the amount given. Use the below link and select the one off option.

Adjust giving

Once you’ve set up a regular gift with the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ you can log in to check or change it at any time. If you have any questions about your giving please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

You can also give direct via bank transfer, standing order or cheque. Contact us for more information.

Redland Church is a registered charity no. 1131061.

  • First off if you’re giving bia the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ you can choose to anonymise your giving. Generally speaking we try to minimise the number of people who know what individuals give. The treasurer and the bookkeeper are the only people who need to know and regularly see this information.

  • Redland’s spending is overseen by its PCC (Parish Church Council). Every year they set a budget and agree who is allowed to spend it. We publish our annual accounts each year which enable full scrutiny of our spending. At the annual parish meeting there is always a presentation on the accounts and a chance to ask any question of concern. We are always happy at any time to answer any question regarding our finances and seek to be as transparent as possible.

  • We know that at this time some, for matters of conscience, do not want their money to support the wider Church of England. If this applies to you please get in touch as there are ways to give that circumnavigate this.
