Message from Wendy Hopkins:
Some Ukrainian friends of ours have to move out of their current rental in 3 or 4 months' time and are looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom flat to rent (up to c £1300 per month). They are very lovely people. If anyone knows of anything do let me know. Wendy Hopkins, Redland Ukrainian Welcome Hub: email welcomehub@redland.church

World Day of Prayer Centennial wall hanging
It is planned to make a wall hanging made up of individual squares sewn together to celebrate the World Day of Prayer centenary in 2027. Each square will represent a country which has been, or will be, the focus of a World Day of Prayer service. If you enjoy crafts you are invited to make a square to represent a country of your choice. There will be a preliminary meeting at 2pm on Saturday 20th June for anyone who would like to make a square and is free to attend. Packs will be available and some materials, fabric, ribbon, threads etc you can use. You can reserve the country of your choice and use the meeting to plan, or start to make, your square. The meeting will be held in the back hall of Alma Church, Alma Road BS8 2ES.
You can make a square without attending the meeting. Ask Wendy Hopkins (wendyhopkins@blueyonder.co.uk) who can get hold of a pack for you, with a blank square and instructions or e-mail Sally Hogg (Alma Church) at the e-address below and ask for a pack. You can choose a country from the list included and then e-mail Sally on sjlh37@gmail.com to find out if it is available.
