Christian Nationalism in Bristol, May 9th
A community conversation event is taking place in Bristol on Saturday 9th May, 7.30–9.30pm.
The Far Right are increasingly using phrases like 'Christ is King' and appealing to 'Christian values' and 'Christian heritage' in their political communications. This event is an opportunity for Christians to dig into the divisive assumptions that sit beneath these phrases - and to reclaim them, asserting what Christ's kingship, His values, and a Christian heritage really mean in the light of God's love for all people.
We think this is a vital conversation for Christians to be having right now, and we'd love your congregation to be part of it.
You can find full details and sign up here:
(The venue will be confirmed to all who sign up.)

Support pollinators
Nothing says Spring like the buzz of a bee! But these precious pollinators are declining due to habitat loss, climate change and agricultural intensification. Wednesday 20 May is World Bee Day, so look around to see how you can improve habitats for bees and other pollinators.
Read more about bees, butterflies and habitats that support them in our Target 25 resources at arocha.org.uk/what-we-do/target-25. Sow a pollinator friendly seed mix, make or buy a bee hotel, let some wild flowers grow in your garden, and don’t use pesticides. Pray that our pollinator populations will increase.
