Christmas Through the Keyhole

What is CTTK?

‘Christmas through the Keyhole’ is a muti-sensory, interactive trail for children which gives them a unique experience of the Christmas story run at our building at Redland Church in Bristol. Each zone is a reconstruction of the home of a Nativity character. As they peer ‘through the keyhole’ and enter into each home, children search for clues about the children who live there. The climax comes when they meet the characters in the final zone. By the end of the trail, they have a collection of clues to task away with them to remind them of their experience.

How will it work?

Families will be welcomed as they come in and allocated to a group for the trail. The trail will take around 1 hour. Before and after the trail, refreshments will be available and there will be a range of activities for the children. The children will be decorating keyhole shaped cookies and each of the nativity characters will have a different craft activity, e.g. Shepherds – Sheep related craft. There will also be some Nativity related games for the children to play. We will be serving hot chocolate/tea/coffee, mince pies and biscuits.
